All Square In Melbourne In Bledisloe One At Half Time

What a test! Melbourne is playing host to an all-time classic Bledisloe clash between two sides in desperate need of a win.

Australia got proceedings underway with a passionate, unwavering and brilliant response to the Haka in a formation representing the now famous English arrow from the 2019 World Cup.

It would be the All Blacks who would score first as they rushed into a quick lead as Samisoni Taukei'aho barged over for a try which was converted to put the visitors 7 – 0 in front.

Richie Mo’unga added to the lead with a penalty as the All Blacks eased into a 10 – 10 lead.

As the Black cloud covered the Wallabies, Australian fans could’ve feared the worst but what followed has been nothing short of brilliant.

Bernard Foley who has returned from the international wilderness to reclaim the Wallabies number ten jersey following somewhat of an injury crisis scored the home sides first points as he knocked over a penalty to bring the scores to 10 – 3.

These points got Dave Rennie’s side back into the contest before they exploded back to life via a Rob Valetini try on 26 minutes which was duly converted by Foley to make the scores 10 – 10.

Despite several more end to end penalties there would be no more scores in the half setting the stage for a titanic final forty minutes in Melbourne.
