Amazing acrobatic skills set up early try in Pro D2 Friday night clash

French Pro D2 side Stade Aurillac scored a fantastic beach volleyball-stye try against Béziers on Friday night.

Inside the first five minutes Aurillac fly half Thomas Vincent chipped over the defence close to the try line and as the ball looked set to go dead, winger Leroy Van Dam managed to acrobatically bat the pill back into play.

This gifted a simple try for centre AJ Coertzen who was in the right place at the right time, but credit must go to Van Dam for somehow keeping the ball alive.

Aurillac went on to comfortably beat Béziers 43-13 at Stade Jean Alric to reduce Béziers’ league advantage over Aurillac to just one point.
