Anthony Watson comes within seconds of a Tuilagi haymaker

The Sale Vs Leicester game on Sunday was a bruising encounter which saw both Ben Curry and Dan Du Preez leaving the field with injuries - both of which are now doubts for the final at Twickenham.

In a game full of physical battles, there was always going to be a squirmish or two. The main encounters came between fellow England internationals. First up Ben Youngs and George Ford had a few choice words for each other before laughing it off, leaving fans bemused.

Then came the Manu Tuilagi vs Anthony Watson battle, which if serious would have left many a mark. Fortunately for Anthony Watson, Tuilagi realised the joke right before he unleashed the right hook:

Despite the injuries, Sale came through the match as 21-13 victors, much in part to the game management ability of fly-half George Ford. The Sale Sharks fly-half has recently returned from injury but showed no loss of form as he picked up the Player of the Match Award.
