ARCHIVE: The day Rob Howley won the Heineken Cup for Wasps in 2004

The Heineken Cup produced some amazing games over the years and none more so than the year Rob Howley snatched the trophy for Wasps in 2004.

Glorious sunshine beat down on a packed Twickenham in May 2004 as Wasps played Toulouse in the European final.

The game was evenly matched with both teams on 20 points in the dying minutes when Howley snook up on French full back Clément Poitrenaud to score a cheeky try in the corner.

This is one of the most iconic moments in the history of the competition and saw Wasps lift the Heineken Cup in dramatic fashion.
