Ardie Savea demonstrates insane quality with four try display in Japan

World Rugby Player of the Year Ardie Savea scored four tries for Kobelco Kobe Steelers at the weekend as they tore apart Toyota Verblitz in Japan Rugby League One. The match finished 57 - 22 in a thrilling encounter that led to Savea's side venturing further towards the top of the league.

The younger brother of Julian Savea proved unstoppable in a match that also featured international teammates Aaron Smith and Beauden Barrett. Standing on opposite sides, Savea ensured that he had the bragging rights ahead of their future international recalls.

Over the past few years, Savea has proven himself to be one of the greatest in the game, with many fans happy to suggest that not only is he one of New Zealand’s best players within the current roster of players, but perhaps one of the greatest to have ever pulled on the black shirt.

Whilst it would be easy for Savea to get carried away with the praise that showers him wherever he goes, the backrower has proven that he can pull off the goods in whichever arena he finds himself in.
