Barrett's conversion somehow ruled out in Super Rugby Aotearoa clash

Hurricanes full back Jordie Barrett had his conversion ruled out against the Blues on Saturday despite the ball appearing to sneak inside the posts.

The All Blacks star had a touchline conversion to take the Canes to within three points of the Blues going into the final 15 minutes at Sky Stadium.

Barrett’s kick looked like it crept inside the right hand post but the linesmen underneath the sticks kept their flags down to rule the conversion unsuccessful.

The reaction of the full back says it all but despite the questionable decision, the Blues ran away with it late on to win the match 16-31 in round one of Super Rugby Aotearoa. Full match highlights are available below:
