Best tries of the Top 14 - Round 20

Something must have been in the water in France the weekend Round 20 of the Top 14 took place, because the tries that were scored were some of the best scored all season. Here's the top 10, in order as chosen by the broadcaster.

We haven't covered a whole lot of Top 14 rugby lately unfortunately, but these little try recaps will hopefully quench the thirst and keep you up to speed with the best tries from the great league. For the French fans out there, if you see something that you think should be shown on RD, please let us know.

There's a few standout tries in this video with some great pieces of skill. Julien Arias scored a flopover try for Stade Francais after Noel Oelschig's neat little backflip that caught everyone off guard. Arias scored twice against Bourgoin, with his second from great teamwork off the ball.

For Racing Metro Henry Chavancy finished off a nice team effort, while Francois Steyn showed his deceptive pace by breaking the line in midfield then sprinting in to score a great try. Another Springbok centre also scored in the tournament that is packed with foreigners. Marius Joubert got on the end of a perfectly placed Brock James kick ahead to score a nice try against Albi.

Bayonne had the pick of the tries collectively, as they scored three classics against Montpellier. First it was Rob Linde, set up by Sam Gerber, then Gerber himself ran in a try, before France winger Benjamin Fall produced a great chip and chase. Enjoy the brilliant compilation of tries.
