Best tries of the Top 14 - Round 4

Round 4 of the Top 14 took place on Wednesday last week. Some great tries were scored around French rugby hotspots, so weve got the best of the lot here in this Best Tries of the Top 14 compilation for Round 4.

Toulouse won narrowly against Bourgoin, but Freddie Michalak had a blotch on his performance card as he tossed a gift to Lionel Mazars, who sprinted away for the try.

Pretty-in-pink Stade Francais continued their poor run of form, as they lost 40-35 to Montauban. Jean-Emmanuel Cassion finished off an awesome team try for Montauban on the way to their win.

Stade coaches Ewen Mackenzie and Christophe Dominici have both since been fired.

For Bourgoin, Albert Vulivuli finished off a nice try with a neat step, as they beat Racing Metro 17-3. Toulon upset traditionally stronger side Clermont, with Sinoti Sinoti scoring a nice set piece try on the way to the 26-21 victory.

Last seasons winners, Perpignan, got the win against Brive in a scrappy match in which David Marty and Christophe Manas scored tries. 21-9 was the final score there.
