Brendan McKibbin banned for 3 weeks after red card for stamping

London Irish scrumhalf Brendan McKibbin was suspended for three weeks for a nasty looking stamp on Bath's Henry Thomas during the fourth round of the Aviva Premiership. The 30-year-old Scotsman was sent off during the 45-14 loss to Bath.

A Rugby Football Union (RFU) panel of Jeremy Summers (chair), Aidan O'Brien and Inigo Churchill, sitting at the London Bloomsbury Inn, banned McKibbin, who pleaded guilty, until November 30. He can play again on December 1.
