Brilliant scenes as rugby match takes place in car park after South Africa game

This weekend was a great occasion for any rugby fan. Four huge international fixtures back to back between eight great teams. Yet, according to rugby legend Jacques Burger the game of the day was played by fans just outside Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The encounter between Wales and South Africa on Saturday afternoon was captivating from minute one. The Welsh fifteen surprised many by fronting up physically and really bringing the game to the world champions.

Wales captain Dan Biggar set the tone. From slotting a drop goal from near to the halfway line to constantly winding up the opposition team, Biggar was never far from the heart of the action.

For a long period of the game it seemed as though South Africa were going be handed a shock defeat but in keeping with the entertaining nature of the match, Willemse slotted a game winning kick in the 82nd minute to make the final score 32-29 to the Springboks.

After that pulsating encounter you could be mistaken for thinking that the fans who watched could do with a slight break from rugby. This was not the case, and some superb footage shows that a match took place in the car park straight after the game!

There is a lot to unpack in the video but watch out for the moment one of the attackers gets hit into a fence by a brilliant tackle.

What a way to celebrate a brilliant international test match and once again rugby fans show what makes this sport so special.
