Christian Wade Names Where He Will Be Playing Rugby Next Season

Former England international Christian Wade made a successful return to the sport for a Racing92 side in the 7s Super Series in France.

Wade has no revealed where he will play his rugby next season having spent the last three seasons with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.

Having never quite caught on with the Bills, Wade’s return to the sport that he successfully played for a number of years makes for an interesting subplot heading into the next season.

Listing London as his preferred destination, the clubs available to Wade would be Harlequins, Saracens, London Irish and perhaps Ealing Trailfinders.

Thus far an offer has not been forthcoming, however Wade has said his return is imminent.

A lethal finisher, Wade would certainly be a benefit to any squad, the issue facing him at present would be just close to the salary cap several teams already are.

Having represented Racing 92 as a “medical joker” it could be that he will need to wait for an injury to make his long awaited return.
