There have been some fantastic big tackles lately, so here is a look at the best of August from around the world. Featured are massive tackles from the Currie Cup in South Africa, the ITM Cup in New Zealand, the Top 14 in France, and of course the Rugby Championship.

With the Aviva Premiership and Guinness Pro12 kicking off this weekend, we're sure to see another impressive compilation at the end of September. Thanks to Sky Sports for putting this together.

Yep, same game. This tackle came midway through the first half, but the try was right at the end of the game. Then he beat, amongst others, the same centre that nailed him here.

0:31 - I like to imagine Folau saying something along the lines of "Intercept this, you shit".

0:17 Is this the same game where he (Kolbe) scythed through half the oppo players and set up a try? Anyone know which order the two events happened in? Reminiscent of Terry Butcher claiming that had he known Maradona had handballed for his first goal, no way would he have let him dance past him and the rest of the England team for his incredible second, (I call BS on that btw, he couldn't bloody get close to him).

It was judged as legal (if you're talking about the Yann David one).

Clearly illegal by tameifuna . He's really starting to just look like a big bully, not a fan

Quiet compared to most big hit videos, but then again, I think almost every hit in the clip was technically legal (bar an offside or two and a tameifuna shoulder). Good clip to show young players... boring for the bloodthirsty though.
