Controversy Brewing Following Hurricanes Line-Out Try In Crucial Brumbies Clash

The Ardie Savea lead Hurricanes got one step closer to post-season action with a crucial 32 – 27 win over the Brumbies.

In a back and forth contest between two of the competition’s top sides, the Canes win in Wellington sees them both to within a point of the Brumbies on the table.

As ever in a one score game, there were a several crucial moments that could’ve swung the contest.

More often than not at least one of these moments will go on to be heavily debated and this clash was no exception.

Getting set for an attacking line-out, Canes Hooker Asafo Aumua who had a blinder of a game through the ball in to a ready Savea.

From here the two dynamic forwards pulled off some sublime interplay for Savea to sprint over for a crucial score.

Yet, replays would appear to show the ball going directly to Savea rather than down the middle.
