Debate rages on over hit on Tuilagi that led to concussion

Manu Tuilagi is arguably one of rugbys toughest men, and often we see opposition players suffering the consequences of a Tuilagi hit. However this time it’s been Manu on the receiving end.

During the Sale Vs Ulster match at the weekend, Tuilagi was met with a head on head collision that saw the England centre being taken off the field to have a HIA. Following the assessment it was determined that Tuilagi had indeed suffered a concussion which meant that he wasn’t allowed to return to the field of play, and will now spend some time on the sidelines before he is allowed to return.

It was the hit itself that is creating quite some debate currently, with many wondering whether the tackle should have received some harsher punishments.
