DRAMATIC late drop goal wins tight game for Dragons

Dragons fly half Sam Davies scored a drop goal in overtime to win Saturday night’s Pro14 game against Scarlets.

The former Ospreys number 10 scored 17 points at Rodney Parade and his 81st minute drop goal means the Dragons are now fifth in Conference A.

 

Davies made 150 appearances for the Ospreys before joining the Dragons for the start of the current season and the 26-year-old has earned eight caps for Wales.
