Still brimming from his England sides 2 – 1 series over his native Australia this summer. Eddie Jones was asked about his future plans when his contract expires at the end of next year’s world cup.
Never short of a word to say, Jones once again highlighted his desire to coach in the National Rugby League competition in Australia.
This is not the first time Jones has spoken about his desire to try his hand at League.
A proven winner at each of his stops, Jones coaching the NRL would be an interesting transition to watch.
Certainly, over the years he has worked with numerous League to Union converts and as a kid grew up playing the sport alongside union.
Undoubtedly Rugby Australia will be looking to prevent potentially their best coaching option from heading over to their biggest domestic rival.
