England beat the Barbarians 28-14 at Twickenham on Sunday, with some young uncapped players making a name for themselves, against a Baa-Baas team with over 700 international caps. Eighteen year old flanker Tom Curry was named Man of the Match, after coming off the bench.

With a number of players on British and Irish Lions duty, an England squad featuring a host of uncapped players will now travel to Argentina for a two-match Tour.

I don't like to normally rag on the ref as I usually feel it's just people looking for a scapegoat, however he was pretty dire here. However I don't think he was biased.

On a side note, got some good talent coming through! I know that the Barbarians are a scratch side and that a few of them are at the end of their careers but the fact that Tom Curry, an 18 year old, managed to hold his own against that back row is pretty impressive.

Why would an Irish ref favour an English team?

The refereeing in this game was just appalling. Couldn't finish watching it.

It was the most shameful display of 16 vs 15 men rugby I have seen in a long time.
