Castres winger Filipo Nakosi showed dogged determination to prevent a certain try against Stade Français during the weekend’s Top 14 action.
Stade Français scrum half Arthur Coville made a clean break on the far touchline and sprinted 30 metres to reach the try line at Stade Pierre Fabre.
The Castres players appeared to give up the chase and accept conceding the try until Nakosi came out of nowhere to make a last ditch tackle, dislodging the ball from Coville’s grasp.
The Stade scrum half lay face down in disbelief while Nakosi couldn’t help but smile as the home fans hailed his heroics.
