Brumbies and former Wallaby winger Henry Speight scored a sensational try against Melbourne Rebels at AAMI Park on Friday.
Speight received a looping pass from scrum half Joe Powell before diving into the corner in the 17th minute of the game, with just Wallaby Marika Koroibete in pursuit.
The 30-year-old took a big hit from Koroibete, but somehow managed to avoid the touchline. The try was taken to the TMO but the on-field decision remained.
Despite Speight’s efforts, the hosts went on to lose to the Rebels 29-26, leaving the Melbourne side top of the Australian Super Rugby Conference.
