Fan casually strolls through Cape Town 7s security with home made VIP pass

A South African 7s fan scammed his way into the Cape Town 7s all access areas this past weekend with nothing more than a lanyard and home made VIP pass. Sydney Lanyard, as he likes to be called, walked through security in plain sight, getting to mingle with players and celebrities.

It was obviously only for fun, but it will no doubt anger the tournament organisors, as well as those responsible for stadium and player security.

Along the way, 'Sydney' got to meet some Australian 7s players, get down onto the field and even got into one of the changerooms for a team photo.

The audio and video footage is poor at times but it looked like a fun experience! *stay honest, kids.

Why on earth would you post that video? Ignoring the argument of whether he should have made the fake VIP pass, if you've pulled it off and gotten such and incredible experience wouldn't you keep it to yourself so you could keep on doing it year after year? Now they'll be looking out for him at future tournaments.
