Former Welsh assistant coach Sean Holley made an interesting argument in the wake of Wales's 27 - 26 defeat to Scotland on the weekend.
Holley formerly coached the Gloucester academy, Ospreys and Bristol with a stint as Welsh assistant coach for their 2009 North American summer tour, is now a rugby analyst and present.
Presenting on BBC Scrum, Holley showed figures generated by using predictive stats that give an indication of how many points a team should score.
The model then produces the scoring figures by listing factors such as entries into the 22, possession, territory, carries, and line breaks.
To be clear, Holley points out on X (formerly Twitter) that it was not him making these statements but the algorithm.
Utilising the segment suggested that Wales should have been leading at half-time before going on to win 32 - 21.
