@ Rugbyvore I am not convinced. To your point i agree Fofana may have forgotten 1 or 2 passes that could have brought the ball close to the try line. But Mermoz has been a poor defender and it cost us a try. I wish Mermoz and Fritz would make passes, i find them slow, not creative and to be frank not dangerous. Ball in hand they keep launching themselves into the defense; Fofana plays great defensive rugby with Clermont and scores tries. I believe he should play as a center and learn at the international level; he could become a big name.

I;ll go further: the attacking play by Toulouse is poor, i'd blamed Fritz for that. Thanks God they have McAllister.

I hope Fickou will play next weekend.

Nyanga's try did come out of nowhere. He picks up the ball, alone, at the back of a ruck (he's fully stopped when he picks the ball up). He flattens two dudes defending the ruck zone (bumps into them and sits them on their arse), and then starts sprinting like a back, mesmerizing every other defender (backs mainly) who can't catch up with him. Super solo effort, well-deserved.

Huge first half indeed. In the second half, both teams looked a bit stunned by what they had done in the first. Good to see the french can do very good without some of their elders (Rougerie, Harinordoquy, and of course Dussautoir).
    That's promising!
Nyanga's try was spectacular, if I may say "Lomu' style". But my favorite is the second one, lovely kick by Fritz.

Amazing 1st half, loads of rugby, fast pace, the 1st scrum came at the 39th minute...modern days rugby i guess. Prop Nicolas Mas asked his coach if props will be needed in a near future.
Good to see the French beating the Argies with a comfortable margin. Picamoles in 8 was immense, as always.
Our centers are poor; i wish to see Fofana.

The Test was actually set in Lille, in Northern France, where rugby isn't much of a religion.

An amazing first half of rugby!
