Francois Hougaard has signed for Saracens on a three-month deal to provide injury cover on the wing. Hougaard was most recently seen playing for the Barbarians in their November tests, providing his expertise on both the wings and scrum-half. It will be this versatility that will be so useful for a Saracens side looking to continue their immense winning run so far this season.
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall had the following to say about his new signing, "Francois is a player with great experience and we are excited to see the impact he can make with us,"
The former South African international had recently moved to Wasps, and achieved just a handful of appearances before the club sadly went into administration.
