England pulled off possibly their greatest ever escape at Twickenham in round three of the Autumn Nation Series.
Having trailed New Zealand 25 – 3 with little over ten minutes to play, Eddie Jones’s men appeared to flick a switch.
Launching a blitz offensive that the All Blacks simply couldn’t handle, England ran in three tries to level the scores at 25-a-piece with a minute to play.
The second of these tries was started from deep in their own half and finished by the brilliant Freddie Steward.
The score itself is certainly contender for one of England’s all-time best as just about every player wearing white touched the ball.
Rushing down the Twickenham turf England went through the phases before Steward split the All-Black defensive line and going over relatively untouched.
Whilst England would go on to controversially kick the ball dead to settle for a draw despite being a man up, this try will last long in the memory of English fans and neutrals alike.
