Last month we saw Stormers fullback Joe Pietersen set up a fantastic counter-attack that resulted in an amazing try against the Highlanders. Unfortunately when he tried something similar against the Force this past weekend, huge prop Pek Cowan was ready for it.

Great hit, but Pietersen was back on his feet and scrambling into position before the next breakdown. Tough little guy.

As a prop myself, love to see the fairies out the back getting put in their place.

look at all the haters. Pieterson running full tilt leaning forward got hammered period. plain and simple boys. he got drilled. I love when a front rower makes a athletic play how so many are quick to chalk it up to bad luck. Theres a reason why the little fellas run away from boys like Cowan, its called physics. well done Cowan for delivering a sound hit, Props (pun intended) to Pieterson for taking the hit like a man. Shame on the rest of you for hating on the big man.

Yeah, falling over and unable to change direction to avoid running straight into a prop. Love the way the commentator put it: "a prop's dream, like netting a barramundi right next to the boat"!!
Still, nice hit. -

Looks decidedly ordinary on Cowans behalf. My sister could put a similar hit on Pietersen given he was falling face first.

Cracking hit. You can see as hes slipping looking up, his face go blank knowing it will be big.
