With the big party that is the Rugby World Cup heading towards its crescendo with the final now just six days away. One could be forgiven for not noticing that some of club rugby's premier competition's have returned to our screens.
Joining the English Premiership and French Top 14 in getting back underway, the United Rugby Championship returned five weeks delayed due to the World Cup over the weekend.
Returning with eight cracking fixtures, the weekend's action had it all from upsets to blow outs and everything in-between.
Dominant Force
Across the first two seasons of this exciting league, no team has been more dominant than the DHL Stormers.
The Cape Townians won the initial competition as they defeated arch-rivals the Vodacom Bulls in a cracking contest at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town. A year later, the Stormers would once again host the final but would come up short against Irish powerhouse Munster in a tense final.
Renowned for their end-to-end attacking style of play, the Stormers possess some of the best attacking players that South African Rugby has to offer.
Currently representing the Springboks at the World Cup, Manie Libbok, Damian Willemse, Steven Kitshoff (Now signed to Ulster), Frans Malherbe and Deon Fourie have been key contributors in the Boks run to the final.
Behind these stars are several other fringe Springboks and exciting talent who will look to make a push for regular international game time this season as the Boks see several senior stars depart the international stage.
Next Backline Superstar
One such player is the dynamic young centre Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu who is one of the most highly touted players in South African Rugby.
The Former Bishops star possesses a rare skillset of exceptional footwork, silky smooth hands, a rock solid kicking game and above all else an exceptional Rugby mind.
Starting for the Stormers in the number 12 shirt that is normally occupied by Willemse, Feinberg-Mngomezulu showed the world his full array of skills in one beautifully taken try on the weekend.
Collecting a loose ball, the centre showed footballing skills that wouldn't look out of place on a Premier League pitch as the Stormers defeated the Lions 35 - 33 in Johannesburg.
