The Ospreys player made light of his injury as he entertained viewers with some questionable faces while using the pain-relieving drug. Understood to be Methoxyflurane, it is an inhaled vapour that is used for the relief of moderate to severe pain in conscious adults with trauma and associated pain.
Predominantly a 7s player, Cross made the switch over to 15s back in 2017 when he committed to Ospreys making an impressive debut. So impressive was his impact at Ospreys that just 28 days later he was starting for Wales after emerging off the bench for them the previous week. Unfortunately for the now 30-year-old, that second cap was to be the last for his national side following the emergence of preferred talent.
