Despite the one-sided nature of this win for the All Blacks, Italy competed well and made some crunching tackles last weekend, and none more so than the Simone Favaro tackle on Israel Dagg. The tackle can be seen here in this latest edition of Smashed Em Bro from New Zealand TV.
In the PRO12 recently Favaro flattened Rhys Patchell with a similar hit. On that occassion the TMO had a look, but correctly ruled that there was nothing wrong with it. You can see it below.
