Incredible Camera Work During URC Clash Shows Rugby Player’s Athleticism

The United Rugby Championship returned to our screens over the weekend following the conclusion of the 2023 Guinness Six Nations.

Featuring the best regional sides from Ireland, South Africa, Scotland, Wales and Italy. The URC strikes a great balance between intense derby battles and fascinating cross-country battles.

Thus, the product on show is as good as any in club rugby in a major step forward to a league that at one point lacked fan buy in outside of derby and play-off games.

This weekend’s round sixteen action further displayed the league’s competitive nature with some major upsets. These results ensure that fourteen teams can mathematically still make the quarterfinals with two rounds to play.

One such result was the Emirates Lions 32 – 28 win away to Benetton at the Stadio Comunale Monigo.

Now sitting in 9th position, the Italians will be kicking themselves that they let slip a commanding home lead slip away.

Given their next two fixtures are away to South African powerhouses the Cell C Sharks and DHL Stormers. The Italians face an uphill battle to secure another victory this season.

One highlight that did come out of that fixture was an incredible piece of camerawork that captured a sublime Lions try.

Following a forty meter break from backrow Frankie Horne. Winger Rabz Maxwane went over under the posts to bring the Lions back into the contest with sixteen minutes to play.

Whilst the score itself was beautifully curated and executed, the camera work on display was as good as one could hope to see.
