Ireland lead Scotland by one at the break with the Six Nations on the line

Ireland leads Scotland with forty minutes played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin as Andy Farrell's side looks to secure back-to-back Six Nations titles.

In what has been a tense affair, Ireland scored the lone try of the half through Dan Sheehan, who pounced on an overthrown line-out on the Scottish line in the 12th minute.

Scotland scored either side of the try as Finn Russell slotted a penalty in the 8th and 17th minutes.

Outside of the scores, both sides have created several try-scoring opportunities only to see them go awry through handling mistakes and tight defences.

Clearly emotional during the national anthems, Ireland captain Peter O'Mahony, who is reported to be playing his final match in green, just saw a pass go through his hands on the stroke of half-time.
