James Haskell and others get grilled by cheeky youngster in promo for Rob Horne fundraiser

Channel 5 and the Gallagher Premiership are doing their bit to support former Wallabies and Saints back Rob Horne, who sadly had to retire prematurely after a horrific right arm injury in April. This amusing video is being used to spread the word.

James Haskell, Ben Youngs and a few others sat down for a unique chat, with David Flatman pulling the strings via an earpiece. It makes for amusing viewing but serves as support for this Saturday's match between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers at Twickenham.

A donation page has been set up to help out Horne, who will deliver the match ball on the day.

The 34-times capped Wallaby has had a few months to come to terms with his injury, one that was initially thought to be a shoulder dislocation. Surgery later revealed that all five nerves servicing the arm had been detached from his spinal cord. He then underwent a nerve transfer, from his ribs into his triceps.

"With most nerve injuries there's a constant, chronic pain but saying that, you find ways to deal with it," said Horne.

"My capacity to deal with the pain has grown hugely since the day of the injury to where I am today. Your brain's a pretty amazing thing.

"I suppose that's what the life-changing nature of it - you're forced to confront things and you're forced to operate in different ways. I've been amazed with the ways the brain can divert and can function in different ways. It's about living with a paralysis and promoting the fact that you still find ways - it's not a barrier.

"My life has changed dramatically. To live with paralysis is something that is very new. I'm still learning ways to do things."
