WATCH: World class offload from James O’Connor Leads To Long Range Reds Try

The Queensland Reds travelled to Dunedin today to take on a Highlanders side desperately fighting to make the top eight with two rounds remaining.

What transpired was one of the most entertaining, end-to-end contests of the season so far.

The Highlanders edged proceedings 35 – 30 in what was iconic scrumhalf Aaron Smith’s final home game before he departs New Zealand Rugby.

In a clash that saw some simply sublime tries scored, one from the Reds stood out above the rest.

Going coast-to-coast, the Reds began a move deep inside their own 22m and ended under the Highlanders' posts.

Passing through multiple sets of hands, the Reds showed their full array of skills during the silky smooth passage of play.

Halfway through the attack, Wallaby veteran James O’Connor pulled off one of the most outlandish offloads to keep the play alive.

Check it out!
