Wales and Lions star Liam Williams was in fine form in a losing cause in Warren Gatland’s return to Welsh Rugby.
Falling 34 – 10 to Ireland at the Principality Stadium, Wales looked out of sorts once again proving just how much of a job Gatland has on his hands.
There were a few bright spots however for the Welsh with young duo Jac Morgan and Joe Hawkins joining Williams in having strong games.
One point that has caused a stir online involved Williams hitting the ground hard from an attempted charge down by Irish secondrow Iain Henderson.
Referee Karl Dickson didn’t feel the incident warranted any more than a penalty, but fans of both teams had differing opinions.
Welsh fans certainly felt the incident could’ve led to a yellow card whilst Irish fans felt it should have been play on.
