South African schoolboy rugby is revered the world over as one of the preeminent producers of professional players the world over.
At the top of the schoolboy pyramid is Craven Week which pits the best of the best against each other in a provincial format.
Producing moments of magic over the years, the competition continues to be a hunting ground for the best talent South African rugby has to offer.
Two of the top unions at this level are the Western Province and the Sharks (Kwazulu-Natal).
It is unsurprising that these two unions are regarded as two of the biggest teams at the competition, given their exceptional senior professional set-ups.
With an abundance of talent in both unions, their clash this year was one of the most hotly anticipated fixtures.
And boy, did it deliver, with several sublime tries throughout the contest.
One moment however, stood about the rest as playmaking star Luyanda Kunene showed off his remarkable footballing skills.
Harnessing his inner Lionel Messi, the youngster gathered a messy ball from an attacking move that had broken down.
From here, Kunene hit the afterburners with a clever chip kick over the Western Province defensive line.
As the ball bounced up at an awkward angle, many a player would’ve attempted to regather and possibly force a knock-on.
Instead, Kunene used his head quite literally as he put in a smooth header before regathering for a simply world-class try.
