The Reds defeated the Rebels 19-3 in an entertaining match from Suncorp Stadium over the weekend. One of the more entertaining moments came when backup Rebels forward Cabous Eloff's unique style of bright pink underwear was exposed when his shorts were ripped away.
The question can be heard: "What front-rower wears pink underpants?" And as the commentary points out, they were in fact team-issued pink budgy smugglers.
Conversations have been known to occur from time to time regarding how flashy a boot colour should be between forwards and backs. There's probably way fewer of those same conversations regarding underwear.
What made the moment even better was how it didn't seem to phase the big man in the slightest.
Just another day in the life of a prop.
Of course, the extra pair of shorts brought on in this situation were also way too small for Cabous, making it even more memorable.
