Nasty Stamp During Top 14 Clash Caught Up Close On Camera

Arguably Rugby’s most powerful league, the French Top14 is home to some of the very best rugby talent in the world.

More of a marathon than a sprint, the league has become a battle of attrition as teams fight to avoid relegation and the consequences that come with it.

One such side who are staring relegation in the face are Perpignan who currently sit bottom of the table.

Formerly a giant of the game, Perpignan has enjoyed some incredible moments. Though the glory days now seem far behind them with their last French title coming back in 2009.

At that time names such as Dan Carter and Henry Tuilagi graced the great club’s halls.

Since then, they have struggled to hit those heights and are no longer a true player in either the Top 14 or European competition.

In their latest fixture against another traditional powerhouse Stade Francais, an ugly moment was caught on camera.

Stade who sit in second place on the table were trailing 31 – 19 but were piling on the pressure deep in the Perpignan half.

In a moment of madness the following happened, check it out.
