New Zealand Rugby 'forgets' about Women's World Cup in fixture clash chaos

As the Women's World Cup progresses to the knockout stages, we have seen some tremendous matches and some truly world-class tries. With the women's game on the rise and interest peaking from all areas of the world, some would argue that it's becoming very hard to miss.

Considering the world cup is taking place in New Zealand, the last people you'd think to forget about the games would be...New Zealand Rugby. Well, that's exactly what appears to have happened.

The men's opening tour match against Japan has been scheduled on Saturday at 6.50pm, just 40 minutes before the Black Ferns begin their World Cup quarter-final against Wales in Whangarai at 7.30pm.
