New Zealand Super Rugby social media teams get flamed for posts

Super Rugby franchises, the Blues and Hurricanes, have become iconic brands in the world of provincial rugby.

Having both won Super Rugby titles in their long, illustrious histories whilst producing some of the best players the game has ever seen, the Auckland and Wellington-based sides remain two of the top teams in Super Rugby.

One area that they have recently caught some heat from has been their social media activity, where their Photoshop performance has left fans underwhelmed, to say the least.

As the All Blacks prepare to tackle the Springboks at Twickenham Stadium in London as part of the two nations' final preparations ahead of Rugby World Cup 2023. The two Super Rugby sides congratulated their players who made the cut for the All Blacks 23.

Announcing the players on social media graphics, there has been a sentiment that the clubs are now doing this as a joke to one-up each other.

Some comments below make Rugby Reddit and Twitter some of the funniest social media communities around.
