New Zealand XV Torch Ireland A With Length Of The Field Try

Ireland A are currently playing host to an All Black XV side in a very useful depth building fixture for both countries.

Currently the visitors are set for a huge win as they lead 47 – 19 having dominated the Irish side at just about every aspect of the game.

In Ireland’s defence, the All Black XV is jam packed with experienced All Blacks as well as some young stars who are on the fringes of the All Blacks first team.

Ireland on the other hand have a large number of inexperienced players and it has shown as they have been outmuscled by their visitors.

This dominance told midway through the first half as Kiwi’s pounced an Irish line-out mistake to go the length of the pitch.

With proceedings now wrapping up, winger Shaun Stevenson was simply sensational as he continues to press his case as a real contender for the All Blacks heading into the World Cup.

For Ireland whilst the result is not what they wanted, several young players have shown plenty of promise and fought right to the end.
