Pivac sacked as Wales Rugby annouce new head coach

Huge news has emerged from Wales this morning, as the WRFU have made the spectatular decision to sack Wayne Pivac.

There have been weeks of speculation around the secuirty of Pivac's position after a string of poor results, including losses to Italy and Georgia in 2022.

Many Welsh fans may have seen desicion coming, but what may come as a shock is who will be replacing Pivac.

According to the Telegraph, Warren Gatland has already agreed to take the role of Wales Head Coach immediately, meaning he will lead them in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

This puts a stop to any discussion of Gatland and the England Head Coach role, and sees him go back to a position he knows extremely well, in a country where he is already adored.

A huge day for Welsh Rugby!
