Praise floods in as Georgian hero hangs up his boots

Georgia legend Mamuka Gorgodze officially announced his retirement from rugby on May 1 and rugby fans across the world have shown their appreciation.

The 35-year-old represented Georgia 75 times across four World Cup tournaments and made more than 250 appearances for Montpellier and Toulon.

The utility forward was known for his hard running and big hits and praise for the veteran has flooded in across social media.
