Max Woosey, also know has 'The boy in the tent', first made headlines for his brilliant charity work after sleeping in his tent for three years. However, he has now set his sights on a new goal which involves Premiership rugby clubs.
Since the start of his three year stint, which ended in March 2023, Max has raised over £700,000 for Devon Hospice.
On nights in his tent, Max said, 'There have been quite a few nights where it has been horrible weather, but you know what, all the money was going to such a good cause, I had to keep on going.'
His remarkable achievement has even been recognised by royalty with Prince Charles listing him as one of the 850 community heroes who are invited to his coronation on 6th May.
Despite already being an inspiration to many, and breaking a world record for the most money raised by camping, Max has a new goal in mind.
Being a big rugby fan, Max wants to combine his love for the sport with his other passions of camping and fundraising. Important to note that he is a huge Exeter fan!
He is aiming to camp on every Premiership rugby pitch to raise money for their local hospices.
It is a great idea which Saracens have already fully supported.
What a brilliant young man - hopefully all the teams get involved and the rugby community can club together to raise a huge amount of money.
