Prop Rhys Thomas scores then celebrates like a back

Scarlets gave fellow Magners League basement side Connacht a nine-try hammering on the weekend as they beat them 58-10 at Parc y Scarlets, with prop Rhys Thomas scoring two tries.

The second of his two tries was requested to be featured here, not only because of the neat crosskick and perfectly executed inside flick, but because his celebration would do most Fijian wings proud.

Perhaps he was watching

on RD last week and felt inspired to bring back some of the classic hand gestures. By the look of things he's been practising that for some time and finally got the chance to unleash it on the public.

Whatever the case, it was a good try with a nice finish and while its certainly not the best prop try weve seen, it was a pretty decent all round effort from each player involved.

Connacht had actually fielded a weakened side, but the result was still pretty convincing and gave Scarlets their biggest Magners League win since 2007.
