RD BLITZ: Peruvian playmaker sets up one of the best 7s tries you're likely to see

The latest Rugbydump Blitz submissions feature a number of big tackles and lovely pieces of play, but today we've picked this one to show you, as it's both creative and perfectly executed. We've also shared a couple of recent popular clips you might have missed below that.

The try was scored at the Viña del Mar Sevens in Chile a few years back when Peru playmaker Francisco Deustua put on a display against Uruguay  7s.

From a tap kick deep in his own half, he managed to beat two players with some quality stepping, before finding his flying support with a perfectly placed and weighted kick with the outside of the boot.

The on-running Renato Iecca gathered and beat the defenders to dive over for a really special try, entertaining the crowd.

SCRUM DOMINANCE

We recently shared this video of two very similar incidents and they provided quite a bit of debate and discussion on our facebook page. It shows Hillfoots and Peterborough RUFC both dominating scrums, but many felt it was illegal play.

BERKSHIRE U18 TRY

This lovely try by Berkshire U18s against Dorset U18s also proved popular when posted on our instagram page recently. It shows a lovely break and steps by scrumhalf Fergus Walker against Dorset U18s, then Charlie Scott finishing what was a great team try.

Submit your videos via rugbydump.com/blitz and we'll share the best of them!
