Referee has Georgian handbags under control, or so he thinks

This fight in Georgia escalated so quickly, we tend to wonder what was being said. It all seemed like it was under control, as Kharebi and Armazai battled it out in Round 12 of Didi 10, their local championship, but suddenly things got totally out of hand.

The gloves came off and the windmill arms started, with multiple pods of fights breaking out. It was definitely awkward to watch, as it could easily have been avoided.

Eventually it died down though, and the referee got matters under control, before the game continued and Armazi came out victors 22-17.

Good luck figuring out who started it!

Only risk of the above is that the referee loses his 'go to' man for each team... Now top man has gone, who takes charge to calm everyone down?

Maybe a team yellow where the skipper has to nominate a player of his choosing to sit out for 10 mins! Haha... Or crowd votes?

I'd be in favour of 'team' yellows for the skipper - extended to consistently cynical play also.

funny how they started to hung and shake hands at the end!

A yellow card for each captain? ie "keep your lads under better control"

It's good of Northampton to donate their old shirts to help support Georgian club rugby.
