Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Roy Keane and Micah Richards, Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth are three of modern sports' most recognisable double acts.
Reynolds and McElhenney's ascension to the top of British sport with their takeover of Wrexham Football Club has been a remarkable tale of what can be done when two successful individuals team up for the betterment of sport.
Keane and Richards are quite possibly the funniest duo in sports commentary in modern football, having both enjoyed successful playing careers.
Finally, Rugby's sweethearts Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth are renowned as the biggest bromance in professional rugby.
The duo have been linked at the hip since bursting on the scene with Western Province Rugby over a decade ago. Fast forward to 2023, and the duo has won two Rugby World Cups together and, in the process, is renowned as one of the greatest players ever to pull on a Springbok jersey.
Whether it is funny back-and-forths on social media or general messing around on the side of a pitch, the duo have offered some great moments to rugby fans over the years.
However, in a shocking turn of events, it would appear as though Rugby is set to experience its version of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's divorce.
Following years apart, Etzebeth played for Toulon in the Top 14, and Kolisi remained with Western Province. The duo reunited at the URC team, the Hollywoodbets Sharks, in 2022 as Etzebeth returned to South Africa following three seasons with Top 14 Toulon.
Unfortunately for Etzebeth, his arrival would come just before Kolisi announced that he would swap Durban for Paris as he signed with Racing 92.
Initially, the duo hid their issues to protect the children (the rest of the Bok squad) to collect their second World Cup title.
With the kids now graduating from one-time World Cup winner's school to two-time World Cup winner University, Etzebeth has taken the brave step of announcing his split from Kolisi.
Clearly enjoying the single life, Etzebeth posted a photo with two adoring potential new besties in, Curwin Bosch and Francois Venter (Rugby players and Instagram these days)...
In what was a cold final nail in the coffin of Rugby's power duo, Kolisi commented on the post in a clear sign of support for his former best pal with two emojis proving just how much he missed Durban.
Simply responding with the killer line 'If you not in my team, I don't want you in my comments.' Eben closed the curtain on Siya.
