Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle is renowned for his off-the-cuff ruthless comedy, which has made him marmite to many around the world.
Fans of Boyles love the brutal honesty of his comedy, whilst his detractors feel he routinely oversteps the mark.
Whatever your feelings are about the 51-year-old, there can be little doubt that when he speaks, there will be a reaction.
The same can certainly be said for his Twitter account, where Boyle regularly posts tweets that create a bit of a stir in all areas of society.
Thus, when the opportunity to take a pop at the rugby team of Scotland's oldest enemy, England, Boyle produced the perfect one-liner.
Responding to an article produced by Telegraph journalist Oliver Brown surrounding rugby's eligibility laws and, in particular, focusing on the current make-up of the Scottish national side, Boyle simply wrote, "Don't really follow rugby, but I imagine this means England are losing."
Ironically, the article itself was released yesterday, just days after England had lost the Calcutta Cup to Scotland for a fourth consecutive year.
Whilst Boyle's tweet was well-timed and funny, Brown's article certainly makes for interesting and, at points thought-provoking reading as players who are eligible for multiple countries weigh up their international ambitions.
