Blues replacement front rower Kurt Eklund got away with a questionable clear out on All Blacks winger Sevu Reece during Sunday’s Super Rugby Aotearoa match against the Crusaders.
Eklund took hold of Reece as he bridged over the ball in the second half at Eden Park and flipped him over his shoulder in a wrestling-style move.
Surprisingly Eklund was not shown a card for the incident despite the appeal of Reece, who did a full front flip as a result of the challenge.
In the end it was the Crusaders who came away with a 27-43 win in Aukland to retain their spot at the top of the table. Full Match highlights are available below:
