Siya Kolisi has become only the second captain to have ever led a side to back-to-back World Cup victories, after an impressively gritty victory over the All Blacks last night.
Known to be a true leader of his team, the powerful back-rower showed immense presence of mind following the final whistle to sprint over to the sent off Cheslin Kolbe to celebrate. This was such a touching moment considering the anguish the winger had been pictured in just moments prior, watching from the sideline, unable to do anything.
Following the celebrations with his team, it was over to the media to give his views on the match and the journey his team has taken.
Enjoying the time of his life, he also popped in to see S4C presenter Sarra Elgan, as well as ex-Wales international Mike Phillips and fly-half Rhys Patchell.
"I must say for the Welsh people honestly, I said I know how hard Welsh people work," he said. "I knew the team was going through a tough run and I knew they would pull it together. They made it to the quarter-finals after everything they have been through and they've still got a way to go - Jac Morgan will lead the team into the next [World Cup]."
As he exited the field and arrived at the post-match press conference, the 32-year-old Springbok was in terrific spirits, singing and celebrating his way towards the desk to face the world's media.
As press appearances go, this was one of the most passionate and charismatic displays that you are likely to see from any player, ever. Kolisi was filled with a raw emotion that resonated through all of those around him.
His insistence on speaking to each and every member of the audience was not out of the ordinary for the experienced captain, however, as many fans will testify his welcoming nature.
It was his final words to his coach that touched many people.
Can he make it a third victory in Australia in 2027? We wouldn't want to bet against it.
