Smith leads Highlanders to EPIC 24-point comeback in Super Rugby thriller

All Blacks scrum half Aaron Smith starred in a remarkable 24-point comeback for the Highlanders against the Chiefs in round six of Super Rugby Aotearoa.

The Chiefs had a 31-7 lead after 47 minutes in Waikato but an incredible four tries by the visitors in the final 30 minutes snatched a dramatic victory for the Highlanders.

Smith scored the Highlanders’ third try with a fantastic counter attack before setting up Sio Tomkinson for the final touchdown of the game in overtime to complete the huge comeback.
